Located in the southeastern region of the United States, the state of Alabama is bordered by Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east, the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Mississippi to the West.

It is located right in the middle of what is known as the Bible Belt of the United States. Therefore, religion is a big part of the local culture, and intriguing churches such as the Church of the Highlands are ordinary.

Alabama also prides itself on its spectacular 32 miles of white sand beaches on the Gulf Coast. Its beautiful cities, such as Birmingham and Montgomery, boast some of the most delicious home-style meals, such as pecan pie and fried okra.

The city of Birmingham has a lot of state parks, like Oak Mountain State Park, where one can experience outdoor activities like hiking, hunting, and fishing.

One can indulge themselves in the awe-inspiring DeSoto Waterfalls and the beautiful Chiha Mountains. No matter what season one visits or what part of Alabama, there is always an exciting feast within a few kilometers.

Small, picturesque towns like Fairhope dot the entire landscape of the state. These cities are dream destinations perfect for taking Instagram-worthy pictures or just sitting back and soaking in the mesmerizing sights.
